Butter and Egg Days Parade and Fair,
Saturday April 29th, 2008
We took the P&SR Express Trolley No. 8 in the Apple Blossom Parade, Saturday April l5th in Sebastopol, the Butter and Egg Days Parade, Saturday April 29th in Petaluma and in the Rose Parade in Santa Rosa May 20th. She has been displayed at the Petaluma Antiques fair, the Petaluma Airport, at the Western Sonoma County Museum, in Sepastopol, and at Railroad Square, in Santa Rosa. During a 6-week period, we handed out 4000 brochures and histories of the car and 1500 people walked through her. This spring 60,000 people saw her in person. During the build up to, and in the wake of, the parades, photo articles on her appearances were published in the three local newspapers reaching a circulation of 90,000. There have been four TV pieces where the trolley is a subject of discussion or appears on camera.
